- assemble, align, and secure steel structures in line with project specifications
- operate machinery such as telehandlers and scissor lifts; training provided for spider crane operation
- perform on-site fabrication and welding tasks as needed
- interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project guidelines to ensure accurate installation
- adhere to health and safety regulations across all project sites
- work collaboratively with site managers and team members to complete projects on time
Requirements
- proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in agricultural, industrial, or structural steel sectors
- fabrication skills, including welding, are highly desirable
- proficiency in operating telehandlers, scissor lifts, and willingness to train on spider crane
- ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
- strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to quality
- willingness to travel and work at various project sites across the UK
- relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical fitting, fabrication, or heavy machinery operation are advantageous
