Responsibility

  • collaborating with the Demand Planner to analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to forecast future demand accurately
  • assisting in the development and maintenance of demand plans, considering various factors such as promotions, seasonal fluctuations, and new product launches
  • monitoring inventory levels and working closely with procurement and production teams to optimize stock levels and prevent overstock or stockouts
  • utilizing demand planning tools and software to generate accurate forecasts and reports, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations accordingly
  • communicating effectively with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of demand forecasts, supporting effective decision-making across the organization
  • assisting in the development of demand planning strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights, contributing to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes
