Responsibility

  • at our Hull site the Warehouse Operative role is a physical one reporting to the Branch Manager
  • the business operates on a 7-day a week basis, with all the team working five days out of seven including weekends
  • \*To act as a point of contact for all queries from customers
  • working hours are usually between 8.30am to 6pm and it is a 39 hour contract
  • \*To check and process deliveries which will including putting stock into the correct location and making of customer orders
  • experience in a Wholesale/Cash & Carry is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
  • \*To assist with stock control and undertaking the bi monthly stock-checks with the rest of the team and ensuring goods are always in stock
  • \*To assist the Branch Manager to deliver all Health & Safety requirements and undertake any other project work that may be reasonably assigned from time to time
