Responsibility
- prioritise and manage workload to meet set deadlines and budgets
- good attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns
- provide the relevant training and support for junior accounting apprentices
- review the work of the accountancy apprentices
- have a good working knowledge of various software packages including IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- possess a good knowledge of current accountancy standards
Requirements
- minimum 3 years experience in an accounting practice
- ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- minimum AAT and ICAEW or ACCA would be ideal but not necessary
- the right candidate would work within a supportive team and could also see great progression and development
- accounting: 3 years
- A well-established Accountancy Practice has the opportunity for an Accounts Senior role who is an experienced and driven individual to join their team
