Responsibility
- responsible for maintaining financial accountability, overseeing, and reviewing transactions; hands on intervention when necessary
- preparation of the monthly management accounts for presentation to Group
- month end accruals, prepayments, P&L reporting and cash flow forecasting
- monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- collating documentation to support journal transactions
- preparation of monthly management accounts pack including company consolidation and analysis
- maintain purchase invoice log and post transactions to the Sage ledgers
- assisting in the implementation of a Standard Costing system
Requirements
- qualified by experience or part qualified CIMA or ACCA
- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- fully or Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW or Qualified by Experience
- excellent communication and organisation skills
- A background in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- ability to work as part of the team
- ideally either full or part-qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- proactive, driven, resilient and able to work under own initiative
