quality assurance manager
Responsibility
- responsible for the QA department
- responsible for the effective implementation of existing ISO9001 QMS including internal auditing, procedure issue & review, management review, supplier management
- analysis of performance and quality data to identify trends, under performance, risk, and opportunities in line with organizational KPIs
- be the customer contact for quality assurance related enquiries and issues
- responsible for QA department activities including processing, archiving and dispatch of QA documents to customers
- promote a quality and continuous improvement culture within the business in conjunction with Group Quality Manager
- work with Group Quality Manager to improve existing QMS
- along with Group Quality Manager, ensure external audits are carried out successfully
Requirements
- you have the opportunity to join a well established Steel Stockholder in Shoeburyness
- this business is part of a global group that is undergoing a period of huge investment. You will work on a newly refurbished site and will be an essential member of the business
- reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards across our operations and driving continuous improvement within the business
- previous experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is essential, however candidates without management experience who are looking to 'step up' will be considered
