Responsibility

  • clean and maintain kitchen and shop areas
  • maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
  • unload deliveries and store food items in the correct places
  • follow health and safety regulations
  • we are a family run deli/bakery in the heart of the community, looking for a Kitchen Porter and cleaner to join our team and help keep our kitchen and deli running smoothly
  • assist with food preparation when required
  • the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and other equipment, as well as taking out the rubbish and keeping the kitchen tidy
  • they will also be required to clean around the shop, inside all fridges / counters and do all the end of day cleaning checks
