Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- client facing role involving regular communication with clients on phone, zoom or via email
- day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as purchase invoices processing, bank recs and entering wages journals
- work to deadlines to process the bookkeeping for clients every month in time for their monthly management meeting and other deadlines
- process missing items sent by the client to ensure their bookkeeping is up to date
- ensure accuracy of transactions with correct category coding and VAT treatment
- working with clients on cashflows and collating data for management reports
- processing of VAT returns
- processing of payroll journals
Requirements
- bookkeeping
- bookkeeping Qualification such as AAT or ICB
- experience in a client facing role
- experience with accounting partners such as Dext, Float and Syft useful but not essential
- we are currently a Xero only practice. Experience of Xero is essential, with knowledge of other platforms like Quickbooks, FreeAgent, or Sage a bonus
