Responsibility
- be responsible the timely and effective onboarding of new products to the site
- utilising your written skills to ensure we provide the very best information to our customers
- selection and optimisation of imagery
- working with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure optimum site speed is attained
- working with the Marketing team to attain optimum SEO benefit
- devising creative solutions for product upsell i.e. exclusive bundles, product recommendations etc
- be responsible for effective product categorisation
- be responsible for the visual merchandising of the site and promotions
Requirements
- 2 years product merchandising experience
- experience within the pet industry would be desirable but not essential
- experience and understanding of ecommerce platforms is essential
- experience of Shopify would be desirable but not essential
- excellent written skills to provide unique content
- thorough knowledge of on-site SEO tactics
- experience of graphic design would be desirable but not essential i.e. use of Canva
- ecommerce Product Merchandising: 2 years
