- to deliver and maintain a high quality of care and support which meets the physical, emotional, educational, health, intellectual, social and cultural needs of the young people
- support staff should work from the guidelines of relevant legislation and regulations such as the 1989 and 2004 Children’s Act, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 with the Quality Standards, the care standards and all other relevant legislation. ·
- · Ensuring that each young person’s care plan is followed by all staff and amended when appropriate, to reflect their individual needs
- encouraging young people to attend off-site activities and increase their social network
