Responsibility
source, interview, and recruit nurses, support workers, clinicians, and management staff for roles within our residential care homes
develop a thorough understanding of the specific care needs of our service users to ensure candidates are appropriately skilled and qualified
maintain and build a network of potential candidates for various healthcare roles
advertise roles on relevant job boards, social media platforms, and through other recruitment channels
screen and vet candidates to ensure their qualifications, experience, and suitability for working with children with learning difficulties and behavioral issues
coordinate the recruitment process from initial contact through to onboarding
provide timely updates to hiring managers regarding candidate progress and interview feedback
ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including background checks and safeguarding protocols
Requirements
proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the healthcare sector, including nursing, support workers, or clinicians
understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements within healthcare staffing
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and internal teams
strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
experience in using recruitment software and job boards
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
knowledge of the challenges and requirements of working with children with learning difficulties and behavioral issues is highly desirable
A recruitment background in healthcare settings is advantageous, but not essential
