Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team
- perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle faults and malfunctions
- carry out necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components, including mechanical and electrical systems
- conduct routine servicing and maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- conduct comprehensive MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines and regulatory requirements. Training can be provided
- ensure accurate documentation of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and MOT test results
- utilize diagnostic equipment and tools effectively to diagnose and resolve issues
- adhere to manufacturer guidelines and specifications when carrying out repairs, maintenance, and MOT tests
Requirements
- proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or similar role
- relevant qualifications, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- current MOT Tester status with a valid MOT Tester License
- in-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, mechanical components, and electrical systems
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
