Working hours

Responsibility

  • managing the online accounting software for the business
  • allocate and post bank transactions to nominal codes
  • check, verify and post source documents such as invoices and receipts
  • month end journal posting
  • processing payroll with the support of outsourced payroll bureau
  • reporting on monthly cashflows and predicted cashflows
  • run accounts payable and receivable on a weekly basis
  • draw up financial statements and reports

Requirements

  • experienced in accounting of a growing SME
  • A working knowledge of the latest accounting principles, procedures and software
  • up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • A good working knowledge Xero
  • minimum of AAT qualification
  • management accounting: 3 years
  • bookkeeping: 3 years
