- in the role of Mechanical/Electrical Production Engineer you will source, maintain and repair all equipment within the site
- take the lead in procuring new machinery, spares and modifications
- understand and be able to diagnose problems with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems and their components
- you will carry out and plan routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on all machinery across the site, including building maintenance
- ability to understand and read engineering drawings
- you will also be required to undertake and assist in improvement and expansion projects
- we are a leading manufacturer of e-liquid and vaping products actively seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Production Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team
Requirements
- experience of working within a similar role for at least three years
- experience working with electrical procedures
- strong mechanical/electrical knowledge
- ability to work well both within a team and independently
- excellent communication skills
- full UK driving licence
- working to safe work systems, including producing and reviewing third-party Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- support colleagues and engage proactively with all areas of the business
