Responsibility

  • A full UK Driving Licence and vehicle is essential
  • we are looking to recruit an experienced, customer-focused IT Support Technician to join an expanding IT support department supporting schools within the Xavier Catholic Education Trust across Surrey
  • you will predominantly be based at our main site in Chertsey but will also be expected to visit a number of primary schools carrying out hardware/software installations, IT administration, troubleshooting, health checks and maintenance of peripherals and network infrastructure

Requirements

  • relevant professional qualifications and at least 2 year's experience in an IT support role
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • excellent organisational skills
  • high level of initiative
  • good working knowledge of PCs, servers and associated operating systems
  • thorough knowledge of Active Directory
  • IT support: 2 years
  • knowledge of virtualisation technologies
