Responsibility

  • preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns to HMRC
  • leading client audits
  • assist with monthly and quarterly management accounts to ensure financial information is up-to-date
  • preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC
  • liaising directly with clients and resolving queries

Requirements

  • ICAEW or ACCA qualified
  • at least 3 years experience working in UK accountancy practice
  • ability to work independently and as a team player
  • experience using IRIS Accounts Production, Xero, Quickbooks and Sage advantageous
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • full Driving Licence advantageous
  • ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; able to meet deadlines on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity throughout the year
