WRAP BUSINESS AND LEISURE is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • part-time | Contract | Permanent

Responsibility

  • ensure confidentiality is maintained in the nursery at all times
  • be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with registration and legislative requirements at all times
  • ensure that all individual dietary requirements are catered for in line with parental guidance
  • maintain necessary kitchen procedures and records in accordance with the Environmental Health policies and processes
  • liaise with the Operations Manager on the ordering of necessary kitchen equipment
  • adhere to the Policies & Procedures of WRAP Nursery and comply with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards
  • on a daily basis that all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are washed in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • ensure that all foods are ready at the specified time and correctly served

Requirements

  • paediatric First Aid training - desirable but not essential
  • strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • qualification in child care - desirable but not essential. For the right candidate, there may be the possibility to also work part time in the Nursery as an early years educator
  • chef / Cook: minimum 1 year - with experience in plant based food preparation
  • cooking: 1 year
