Responsibility

  • what you will be doing
  • this person, based in Wales, will be responsible for delivering an enhanced procurement service to clients and appointed framework suppliers

Requirements

  • work with the director and central team to develop a regional procurement strategy and specific Welsh offerings
  • keep up to date with changes in procurement regulations and disseminate the changes to key stakeholders
  • what you need
  • knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Regulations in Wales and experience of undertaking regulated procurement of goods and services
  • provide a call off service to clients wanting to use our frameworks either through mini competitions or direct awards and be responsible for supporting all clients during the time from project registration to contract award
  • accreditation as MCIPS or working towards – as a minimum should have Diploma Level 5
  • work with central teams and other procurement personnel from across the group to provide a procurement service in line with the Gold Standards for Framework Guidance and provide training and best practice advice on procurement matters both internally and externally
  • experience in working with CRM systems
