Responsibility
- monitor and supervise swimmers to ensure their safety and prevent accidents
- enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment
- respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur
- provide first aid and CPR as necessary
- conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards
- maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and rescues
- assist with pool maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
- must be STA or RLSS certified in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR/AED
- strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
- excellent observation and communication skills
- ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- physical fitness and stamina to perform duties effectively
- knowledge of pool safety protocols and procedures
- ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
