Responsibility
- take and understand client briefs through meetings, video calls and telephone calls
- work with Design Team to prepare space plans and present to client
- prepare and present priced furniture schedules based on client brief
- analysis of tender packs including plans, BoQs and other project documentation to prepare a compliant costed furniture schedule
- prepare and present priced furniture schedules from specified SoWs, including sourcing and matching products and offering VE options
- prepare and present mood boards, recommended finishes, spec sheets and pre installation programmes to accompany priced furniture schedules
- arrange samples and showroom visits
- work to submission deadlines using our tender tracker and control sheets on Smartsheet’s – cloud based, collaborative administration tool
Requirements
- estimator - Commercial Furniture
- minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role
- numeracy
- attention to detail
- A methodical approach to work
- commercial awareness
- excellent negation and communication skills
- excellent teamworking, relationship-building and influencing skills
