Requirements
- experience: 3–5 years in kitchen manufacturing or joinery. Some supervisory experience is a plus
- technical Knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen manufacturing, joiner processes and workshop machinery
- industry Knowledge: Experience with Birch plywood and laminates
- leadership Potential: Eagerness to develop team coordination skills
- project Management: Familiarity with Lean and 5S methodologies
- problem-Solving: Willingness to learn how to identify and solve production issues
- health & Safety: Knowledge of health and safety protocols
Responsibility
- assist the Operations Director in day-to-day management tasks, including production scheduling and task allocation
- assist in identifying process improvements
- shadow the Operations Director to monitor workflow and address bottlenecks
- provide updates to the Operations Director on production progress as part of your learning process
- operate machinery and follow safety procedures
- stay informed about industry trends and new techniques, helping integrate new ideas into workshop practices
