Responsibility
- we are recruiting for staff to work two schemes; one in Sudbury and one in Long Melford
- staff would need to be able to get to both locations as they would be working across both locations
- the job involves shift work includes day shifts and sleep in duties
- we are seeking people with or without experience to support people with learning disabilities to live safe and independent lives in their own homes
- this can include support with shopping, household tasks, managing correspondence and benefits, socialising and support with managing their personal care
- training also covers all basic knowledge required to deliver care and support safely and with confidence
- these are often combined and staff should expect to work an afternoon shift with a sleep in duty attached; there will also be day shifts of mornings or afternoons
- full time staff would be expected to complete a minimum of one sleep in shift per week and part time one every other week
