Responsibility
- we are now working with a well established nursery in Harrow, to recruit a Nursery Deputy Manager to join them on a full time basis
- for this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 Childcare qualification and previous experience as a Deputy Nursery Nurse or Third in Charge
- the nursery has the capacity of over 100 children and the Nursery Deputy role is part room and part office based. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week and shifts are per rota. The opening hours are 8:00-6:00
- to assist in coordinating rotas
- preschool
- to oversee the efficient and safe running of the allocated Base Room
Requirements
- minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience
- previous senior or Deputy experience in a Nursery Setting
- minimum Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent
- thorough understanding and knowledge of legislation including EYFS
- empathetic, caring and friendly
- experience of SEND
- managing budgets, invoicing and payroll
- nursery: 3 years
