Responsibility

  • support the roll-out of an automated holiday booking system for all employees
  • assist with recruitment administration from placing job roles with agencies/job sites to appointments and references
  • in conjunction with the HR Manager review and update Company policies to ensure legal compliance
  • provide administrative support for the annual Performance Review Process for all employees
  • produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts
  • carry out ad-hoc administrative functions to support the HR Team

Requirements

Responsibility

  • dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in all general working areas, canteen, kitchens and toilets
  • sanitise hand-rails, door handles, telephones and IT equipment
  • refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries
  • maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
  • emptying waste bins and taking the rubbish to a designated collection point
  • carry out minor maintenance tasks such as unblocking sinks etc

  • continual review of gangways and fire exits are clear for use and free of debris
  • production downtime
  • organisation of all manpower to achieve the daily production & activity plan

  • weekly 5S audit
  • weekly review of Manufacturing Manager 5S audit, with results and corrective action plan
  • effective handover of all information to the following shift and receipt of handover from the previous shift
  • organisation of all Team Leaders to achieve all daily & weekly plans

Requirements

  • at least 2 years previous experience at a supervisory level
  • 5 years’ experience in a plastic component production environment
  • management and Leadership experience
  • injection Moulding expertise
  • previous experience of Quality and Environmental systems and procedures
  • previous experience of implementing SMED (*_ Single-Minute Exchange of Dies
  • capable of driving and leading continuous improvement initiatives

warehouse operative

Responsibility

  • to assist within our goods in team, receiving stock, booking onto our SAP system, labelling the required stock
  • support the manufacturing operation by ensuring product produced is collected in a timely manner and located in stores/warehouse as required
  • to receive and prepare goods from manufacturing for dispatch to customers, packaging and product to and from production
  • to prepare and deliver components required to support our production teams from Material requisitions using our Hand-held terminal scanners
  • load/unload transport vehicles using appropriate mechanical vehicles/devices in a safe and efficient manner
  • maintain consistent stock management good practices including housekeeping and orderliness and support 5S activities
  • assist in stock check activities
  • provide effective absence cover for related roles within Logistics/Operations team for which training will be provided as necessary

Requirements

  • good levels of Literacy and numeracy in order to prepare and interpret documentation and instructions
  • basic personal computer competence
  • A general knowledge of warehouse computer systems would be of an advantage
  • FLT / Reach / Counterbalance Licence or relevant experience
  • counterbalance/Reach Licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided

production operative

Responsibility

  • to accurately assemble front and rear lighting applications
  • prepare small parts in readiness for assembly
  • use machinery to assist in the building of assembled products
  • inspect and rework assembled products to the required standards
  • be responsible for testing, auditing and packaging of manufactured components, sub-assemblies or products
  • work in a tidy manner to maintain the cleanliness of the working area for all
  • to effectively communicate all problems, requests and relevant information to your Team Leader
  • to be aware of all the hazards associated with the job and make Team Leader aware of any potential hazards or accidents
