Responsibility
- we are recruiting an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive early years Teacher, to work with our mixed-age class on a year-round basis
- applicants should have experience in a Reception Class or as Teacher in a Kindergarten/Pre-School. You will be expected to provide an enhanced DBS, and should provide relevant references
- your duties will include supporting the EYFS Curriculum planning and activity delivery, encompassing all areas of learning - as well as both indoor and outdoor play
- you must have an excellent understanding of child development, the ability to follow and contribute to our policies and procedures, and enjoy maintaining and developing a safe and stimulating learning environment
- our chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, a caring and calm attitude, and the ability to form close relationships with children, parents and staff
- it is desirable, though not essential, that candidates have experience using online learning journals, and you will preferably hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and have attended recent safeguarding training - although these can both be provided
