Support Worker - Nightshift Stirling
William Simpsons is a registered charity and 71 bed residential care home which enables adults living with a mental health diagnosis, cognitive impairment, ARBD and other substance abuse related conditions, to get the very best out of life.We are recruiting Support Workers to join our vibrant Nightshift team on a Full-time basis and can commit to 35 hours per week.Why join our Support team?· Competitive hourly rates - We offer competitive rates of pay between £12.40 and £12.76 per hour depending on qualifications as well as enhanced overtime rates.· A company culture that promotes work life balance, by only working 3 shifts per week with the option to pick up overtime if available.· Excellent holidays - 6 weeks per annum.· FlexEarn- Access to the wages you earn, as you earn them.· Extensive comprehensive training program: dedicated trainers providing quality onsite training to all staff; comprehensive online e-learning package.· Electronic MAR system is used within the Home to assist with the safe handling of medications and topical treatments (full training is provided).· Uniform free environment.· Good public transport, frequent buses with bus stops directly outside our driveway entrance· Free, onsite parking.· Accredited Disability Confident Employer.What qualities and skills are we looking for?· Previous experience of working as a Support Worker (or equivalent role) within a care environment is beneficial although this is not essential.· Excellent communication skills, written & verbal..
