Requirements
- A good understanding of overall metal plant operations, together with a detailed knowledge of recycled metal sorting/processing/packaging is essential
- knowledge of working with light metal and titanium scraps is preferred but not essential
- knowledge of customer requirements and product capability
- hold IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferable
- undertake ongoing personal development training and leadership coaching
- have or be prepared to gain a detailed knowledge of area of responsibility
- able to work with IT systems
- excellent communication skills
Responsibility
- ensure Team Members, Contractors and Visitors adhere to Site rules by active supervision
- functional Management - for coordination, advice, assistance, reference & policy
- identify long-term strategies to improve business opportunities in product, process and customer support activities
- ensure all accidents, hazards and/or near misses are reported using the Accident and Hazardous incident reporting system
