Responsibility

  • we are looking for a new Deputy Manager to join the team in our established nursery in Peacehaven
  • this position will be to support our Manager on the day to day running of the setting
  • the position in this busy childcare business will be for approximately 30-40 hours per week spread between Monday to Friday, 7.30am-6pm
  • there will also be overtime to cover sickness, holidays and 1 to 1 for SEN on an ad hoc basis
  • the Deputy Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the setting, supported by the manager
  • you will ensure that staff are deployed appropriately, and that all staff adhere to policies and procedures at all times
  • you will also support staff with Planning in the Moment, paperwork, concerns, and other duties where required
  • in the absence of the manager, you will have responsibility for the running of the whole setting
