  • reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications to determine the correct machining operations and settings
  • writing and editing CNC programs using computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing software
  • setting up and calibrating the CNC machines and 3D printers to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • inspecting and measuring finished parts to ensure they meet the required specifications, making adjustments to the machine settings as necessary
