Responsibility
- customer service – greeting clients, explaining repairs and pricing
- booking customers over the phone and by email for repairs/servicing/MOT’s & diagnostics
- keeping clients informed of the progress of their vehicle
- providing informative quotes and information to customers
- ordering parts
- organising and checking returns
- preparing job card and invoices including taking payments
- using the garage management system for compiling invoices/MOT/reminders
Requirements
- A strong automotive background
- have good mechanical awareness, understanding of cars and parts
- effective planning and time management skills
- great communication/organisational skills
- friendly and approachable & ability to work as part of a team
- full driving licence
- IT Literate - experience of working with a garage management system would be ideal but not essential
- service advisor: 1 year
