Responsibility
- you will be responsible for spray painting vehicles within the spray booth
- duties and Responsibilities
- responsible for organising vehicles in the warehouse in order to maximise spraying and drying time, in liaison with other staff
- deal with any preparation issues, eg, unseen damage which has been spotted with the vehicle upon arrival
- responsible for mixing paint to ensure a perfect match
- spraying vehicles, using an airless paint system
- checking on completion to ensure that there are no defects
- our business is built on our strong reputation for quality workmanship in high volume process painting of commercial vehicles and it is essential that you work to a very high standard
Requirements
- at least one years experience of paint spraying vehicles to a high quality finish
- experience in Airless applications
- conversant in up-to-date conventional spraying techniques
- you will be thorough, methodical and organised with a great eye for detail
- the ability to work on your own initiative
- great communication skills and a team player mentality
- spray painting: 1 year
- you must demonstrate a sound knowledge of health and safety in a similar working environment, including knowledge of COSHH and PPE
