Responsibility

  • the Accountant will be responsible for the daily processing of invoices and accounts payable
  • this position will also be responsible for the monthly reconciliations, as well as assisting with the monthly close process
  • this is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • the ideal candidate will also possess excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task and work independently
  • this positionee reports to the Controller
  • the ideal preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Education

  • bachelor's

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferred, but not essential
  • minimum 2 years of experience working in an accounting firm preferred
  • experience with QuickBooks Online or Taxcalc, VT and Xero
  • accounting: 2 years
