Responsibility

  • we are seeking an Employment & Development Advisor to be based at our Fort William centre
  • the successful candidate will take a proactive client focused approach to connect with those distanced from training, learning and the workplace
  • experience of working with clients on Employability Programmes would be beneficial but not essential, as training will be given
  • UHI North, West and Hebrides is one of Scotland’s leading colleges and a partner in the University of the Highlands and the Islands who head the way in tertiary education
  • using innovative approaches, to support and mentor clients back into employment, or education by providing the individuals concerned with the necessary skills, attributes and motivation to enable them to become economically active
  • you will be educated to SCQF Level 7, with experience of delivering a first-class service to a diverse range of customers, supporting, mentoring, and motivating individuals for work
