Requirements
- knowledge of electrical installations
- knowledge of telecommunications systems & networks
- portable Appliance Testing experience
- HNC/HND/ONC /City & Guilds or similar qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
- you will also need good customer service skills to deal with clients who may be stressed and unhappy about malfunctioning equipment
- compTIA or Microsoft Technical Package
- you will have the confidence and experience to work alone without constant supervision
- as a Service Engineer you will need diagnostic and problem-solving skills to find the cause of a fault and patience to trace it
