Requirements
- A qualification in an engineering principle such as electrical or mechanical engineering
- city & Guilds 17th Edition of Electrical Installations
- city & Guilds F Gas & ODS Regs 2079
- experience in a similar role
- conversant with commercial and industrial electrical systems
- electronic controls/controllers’ knowledge would be advantageous
- capable of diagnosing and fixing problems associated with controllers and control software
- knowledge of refrigeration circuits and systems covering a range of refrigerants
Responsibility
- carry out Preventative and scheduled maintenance of refrigeration, electrical and humidity systems
- to undertake annual calibration and re-qualification and validation of equipment
- carry out repairs, upgrades, and retrofits on all refrigeration, electrical, humidity and software systems
- on a daily basis, to travel and work at different customer locations across the area where necessary
- to work on project installations in the UK and overseas as and when required
- to help and advise customers on the condition of their equipment and offer the options available to them
- daily reporting back to the office
