Responsibility

• safely driving patients to predefined locations in a manner that does not contravene any road traffic laws
• travelling in the back of the ambulance in the role of a patient escort and attending to the patients’ needs
• working as part of a team with crew mate when on a double manned vehicle

• recording patient’s information in detail and accurately
• ensuring that Wealden’s policies/procedures/memos are read, followed and singed if necessary
• be conversant and fully compliant with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018
• comply with all policies and regulations relating to clinical governance and patient confidentiality
• attending meetings and training sessions as requested by Wealden Management
• keep abreast of changes within Wealden and services provided by Wealden
• to give feedback when necessary
• raising/reporting concerns regarding patients, staff and vehicles
