Requirements

  • experience with Sage or similar stock management systems
  • familiarity with woodworking machines such as CNC, beam saws, panel saws, and tenoners
  • supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or similar environment
  • counterbalance Experience: Competent in operating counterbalance forklifts
  • goods In/Out Experience: Strong background in managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse
  • organizational Skills: Experience in organizing and managing daily pick sheets
  • reliability: A dependable team member with a strong work ethic
  • team Player: Ability to work well within a team and lead by example

Responsibility

  • quality Control: Ensure the quality of goods produced meets company standards. Regularly check that the numbers of produced items are correct
  • staff Supervision: Keep staff engaged and informed about ongoing tasks. Ensure all jobs are completed efficiently and on time
  • daily Operations: Ensure all goods are picked and ready for dispatch each day. Organize and manage daily pick sheets
  • equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on machinery and forklift trucks. Ensure all equipment is in proper working order
  • logistics: Oversee the offloading and loading of deliveries. Ensure all goods are correctly stored and accounted for
  • stock Management: Manually input stock movements into our stock management system, Sage. Maintain accurate records of all stock changes
  • warehouse Upkeep: Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
