Responsibility
- raising and processing invoices
- general administrative tasks such as booking van for delivery or cargo pick-up, scheduling and planning
- answering incoming calls and managing the mailbox and other correspondence from clients
- ensure all quality controls procedures are updated and adhered to
- liaise with customers, carriers, and third-party agents to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of shipments to boost customer satisfaction
- using spreadsheets for data entry and any other software applications for taking inventory and recording customers data and shipments
- provide exceptional customer service, including timely responses to inquiries, providing the necessary support and problem resolution
- working as part of a team and able to work on your own when required using initiative
Requirements
- previous administrative experience preferably in distribution warehouse
- excellent organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills
- previous experience of working within a fast paced environment
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to changing business needs
- strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
