Responsibility
- support the Watermark design team in generating ideas in response to tenders
- supporting the Watermark design team in generating ideas in response to tenders
- researching and identifying trends in bag design and amenity kits, sharing thoughts and ideas with the wider design team
- work with operations team to identify and source new raw materials for bags
- creating conceptual responses to tenders, leading the design response as required
- help the Creative Director and wider team to create conceptual responses to tenders, leading the design response as required
- convert conceptual designs into detailed technical packs
- implementing a consistent approach to all technical design work, complying with and developing Watermark guidelines
Requirements
- A passion for the world of design, fashion, beauty, lifestyle products and brands
- experience designing bags and pouches for the fashion industry
- ideally, experience designing bags, soft goods and accessories for the fashion and lifestyle industry
- excellent technical/hand drawing skills
- excellent technical drawing and lifelike visualisation skills
- excellent understanding of bag construction and the materials used in bag manufacture and their impact on price
- understanding of 3D and/or rendering software would be beneficial
- ability to design items to a specific price whilst meeting a designer’s conceptual objective
