- report any maintenance or Health and Safety issues in the shop Retail Manager
- ensure there is adequate flow of stock from storage areas to the shop
- select and price stock at a consistent level in accordance with Wastesavers guidelines
- ensure all financial, cash handling and security procedures are adhered to
- to support, train and supervise volunteers that will assist in running the shop
- to actively promote the shops on social media
- to carry out any other reasonable management requests
- to provide management support to other sites via telephone when required
- experience of cash reconciliation and financial controls
- bank money according to Wastesavers policies
- ensure that the high standard of service to customers that is expected by Wastesavers and the host local authority is maintained at all times
- any other duties as appropriate
- comply with all Health and Safety regulations as per the Wastesavers H&S Policy
- report any maintenance or Health and Safety issues in the shop HWRC Shops Manager
- ensure that all staff and volunteers comply with Wastesavers policies
- responsible for: The day to day operation of a reuse shops at, Docks Way, Maesglas, Newport, Gwent NP20 2NS and Lamby Way, Rumney, Cardiff CF3 2HP including sales, cash management, stock, reporting and management of staff and volunteers
