- maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery
- communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road
- report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management
Requirements
- previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is essential
- familiarity with vacuum tankers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- A valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles is required
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely deliveries
- excellent communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively
- driving a Goods Vehicle: 3 years
