Requirements
- the ideal candidate is expected to have operational delivery experience, who has moved into project planning
- preferably having also provided early contractor involvement and/or bid managed tenders for major projects
- you will be a driven, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication/presentation skills
- previous experience to both the tender and contract stages of projects are essential
- main contracting background is preferred
- A working knowledge of different forms of contracts
- understanding of construction methodology, building technology, preconstruction processes and procurement methods
- ideally having worked on various regional and major construction projects involving large earthworks either for a Tier 1 contractor or specialist earthworks provider
Responsibility
- creating master plan and implementing programs which incorporate the planning requirements of the contract
- appropriate input to prequalification questionnaires and tender quality statements
- regular site walking to establish site progress and compliance with health and safety systems
- developing baseline programs, monitoring and updating progress, progress reporting and reviewing programs existence
- attending regular client meetings and presenting as and when required
- being the conscience of the project on all schedule issues
