Responsibility

  • booking and checking patients in to GP appointment
  • supporting patients to utilise decision aids in preparation for a shared decision-making conversation
  • answering/forwarding incoming calls
  • welcoming all patients arriving at the practice
  • dealing with patients queries accurately and efficiently
  • supporting people to take up training and employment, and to access appropriate benefits where eligible
  • signposting patients to different services when appropriate
  • being aware of protocols and policies
