Responsibility
- troubleshooting and diagnosis of the appliances sent in
- replacement or repair of defective components
- functional, safety checks and quality control
- cleaning of the appliances as part of the repair service with the aim to improve customer satisfaction
- packing and unpacking of units
- movement and picking of stock within the warehouse, as well as coordinating marketing stock and equipment
- upholding a spotless and well-organised working environment
Requirements
- min 2-3 years relevant experience either as Repair Technician or Technical Support Engineer
- must have solid all-round understanding of electrical household appliances
- experience in services and repairing electrical household appliances
- forklift truck license is an advantage
- experience in warehouse operations/logistics
- ability to quickly diagnose and hardware/software faults
- the ability to prioritise and deliver in different situations
- A commercially minded approach
