Responsibility
maintaining accurate records, including inputting data into databases and spreadsheets
provide administrative support scheduling in consultancy sessions and collating accurate records
support the Policy and Impact Team compliance record keeping, maintain Data Protection, Health and Safety and Safe Guarding records
contribute to joint working and team work across Volunteering Matters
providing administrative support to the Policy and Impact Team, this will include answering the telephone, taking messages, taking minutes and notes at meetings, writing letters etc
assisting with finance related tasks including producing and processing invoices, raising purchase orders, monitoring payments and deliveries, administering volunteer expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
to provide administrative support to the support the Policy and Impact Team
Requirements
relevant experience and an understanding and commitment to our organisational values is more important for this role than any specific qualifications
excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including telephone and reception skills
ability to provide an accurate and efficient secretarial and administrative service
good financial administration and numeracy skills
proven planning, time management and organisational skills
ability to work on own initiative
proven experience of working effectively as part of a team
