Seriously? And what is the company's response to this? They won't admit their mistakes, no one wants to be held responsible, but they should react somehow if they haven't done the job.

This has been going on for 2 years. Paid £2000 to pest control. They said that the builders have left holes and access for rats to get in from the new drains. The builder needs to come back and find the source of the problem. He keeps putting off the issue. Came around to look at the drain and put some concrete near the foundation connecting to the drain. But the workmanship is so substandard who knows where to seal up. He just did patch up work on the extension so now we have rats for the last 2 years since we moved in. We are talking about huge smelly drain rats. At least 8-10 of them roaming around in the new extension roof! Torture!

It's not even funny, just terrible... I think it's possible to report somewhere such situation. Have you already thought about it?

Where would you suggest?
And now we are thinking of legal redress….
Long processes and haven’t got the mental energy to pursue it.
Still have the rats …. They keep coming back as we haven’t located the points of entrance.

I think the local council is the only way, at the same time I understand it would cost so much energy... But I feel like you deserve a huge compensation, as I can't even imagine being at your place. Isn't it worth trying?
