- prepare work to be estimated by gathering construction documents, specification, and other related documents
- conduct Take Offs and produce Bill of Quantities on project to 500K
- engage with Clients to understand their needs & resolve queries
- sourcing quotations for both sub-contractors and supply chain where required
- to work alongside the Contracts Manager & Operations Manager to ensure a smooth handover
- other duties as assigned
- engage with Clients to understand their needs & resolve queries. Having a thorough understanding of the project, scope of works and restrictions imposed by contractual requirements and sire conditions
Requirements
- highly motivated with strong verbal and oral communication
- team player essential
- proven track record in estimating
- good technical construction roofing knowledge
- works well under pressure
- good time management with the ability to achieve tight deadlines
- able to work under pressure
- full UK Driving License
