Responsibility

ensure the health and safety of children, staff and visitors, by complying with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
ensure notification to a “line manager” if there are any safeguarding concerns and follow all local and national guidance for the management of these concerns
the role may include supporting the Registered Manager with the recruitment of new staff

ensure all policies and procedures are implemented fully and adhered to to meet legal obligations
participate in staff training as required and contribute to the development of in house training
ensure that any repairs or damage to the property or belongings of the organisation are reported and that necessary action is taken to ensure the safety of the young people and other members of staff
