Requirements

Responsibility

  • you will be supported by an experienced team, and training will be provided
  • you will have a scientific background or proven experience working in a biological research laboratory, ideally in a tissue culture setting
  • A) Mammalian cell culture support
  • B) Growth and titration of a range of virus stocks, and
  • C) Maintenance of databases for cells and viruses
  • your principal role will be to maintain cell cultures and virus stocks and grow cells and viruses for use in experiments. It will be necessary to carry out multiple procedures of a technical nature daily and to coordinate with the broader team
  • you will help maintain our research laboratory to enable it to operate at its highest level of performance, as well as maintain stocks and organize databases
