Responsibility
- ability to set up independently complex test environments
- evaluate alternative technologies and architectures in relation to network infrastructure needs
- interface with management and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements
- provide technical expertise to Product Development to develop new product strategies and enhance existing product sets
- design of networks supporting multi cloud-based networking systems
- design and manage the rollout of critical network infrastructures to support products and services, on both a strategic and tactical level
- perform analytical, technical, cost analysis and CAPEX development work in the planning, design, installation and on-going administration and management of core data networks
- ensure that network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements
Requirements
- experience of information technology background as a Network Administrator
- ability to drive network technology evaluation
- knowledge of specific key points of main network technologies
- thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks using standards and technologies
- knowledge of Cisco routing hardware, software, protocols etc
- experience with multi cloud network services including account connectivity, automation, security, multi-zone and multi-regional deployments, and cost optimization
- extensive expertise in various flavors of Linux, specifically Redhat or Oracle
- demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for web, voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network locations
